I have been working on productions since I was 12 years old. The ORIGINAL 1977 Star Wars film got me into literally EVERYTHING that I do today. I was completely inspired to become an artist, filmmaker, musician, composer, special effects artist and even a sound recorder. My parents never truly understood how a stupid movie could have such a profound effect on my life in the way that it did all the way up until now and still is there, full blown and still inspiring on many creative levels.
I first started with claymation and stop action animation short films. By the time I started High School and was a Sophomore, I bought a Super 8mm sound camera that used film cartridges that lasted about 7 minutes and had a microphone for recording audio!
I loved the look of film versus video, which looked too clear and clean, like a soap opera. Film LOOKS and FEELS like FILM.
