About the 5 day trip to the island of Kauai, Hawaii in April 2005, I decided to quit my job.
I quit my job as an Art Director for a Multi-Billion Dollar Real Estate Brokerage company in Dallas.
Ultimately, this was the company I had been at for almost a decade.
I had started out as a temp and then worked my way all the way up to role as Art Director.
They offered me more money, but I knew that wouldn’t help my spirit and would do nothing to restore my creative drive that had been lying dormant for quite a while.
I knew deep down in my spirit that I needed to “Follow My Bliss”. I needed to do things that I love in life and turn them into a career. I was done working for others and wanted to start working for myself.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to do it, but I knew that life is short and I needed to be doing art, music and film.
The day I resigned, I was offered my first job: a pen and ink illustration for a band poster. Additionally, the project paid $100 and gave me total creative freedom to do whatever I wanted.
Then, a week later, I presented it. Consequently, I knocked it out of the park, and my first client loved it.
Meanwhile, many synchronicities started appearing, and they still appear. They show it was the best decision I could ever make and set me on a 20-year path of entrepreneurship.
I feel extremely blessed to be able to follow my passions — music, visual art, and film — channel some K2 Creativity into them for every client, and watch the magic unfold.
But here’s the part most people don’t know when they first hire me: those aren’t three separate hobbies I happen to also do. They’re the same skill, pointed in different directions.
I’ve played piano, organ, and synthesizers for 48 years.
Additionally, I played drums and percussion for 36 years.
I played guitar for 7+ years.
I spent 30 years as the keyboardist in 23 different bands, playing hundreds of live shows.
Furthermore, I wrote and recorded hundreds of original songs and scored music for short films and a feature.
At the same time, I’ve been a visual artist for 50 years — painting, drawing, pen and ink, pointillism, airbrush, watercolor, acrylics, gouache — and a professional graphic designer for 30+ years, 20+ of them running my own design business. And for the last 25 years, I’ve produced video top to bottom: storyboarding, shooting, acting, editing, VFX, animation, audio.
Most creative professionals go deep in one lane. I went deep in four, at the same time, for decades — and that’s exactly what shows up in the work.
Here’s why that matters to you. A musician thinks in structure, timing, and tension-and-release. A painter thinks in composition, color, and where the eye lands first. A designer thinks in hierarchy and clarity. A video editor thinks in pacing and story.
As one person is fluent in all four, they stop treating your project like a checklist of deliverables.
Moreover, it must hold across a logo, a website, a video, and more.
I am all four, which means the pattern-matching happens in one head in real time.
This avoids getting lost in translation between departments.
That’s the edge. Not “I can do a lot of things.” It’s “I can see how they connect,” and I bring that instinct to every brand, video, and website I build.
I specialize in helping businesses bring their ideas to life through web development, video production, and ongoing creative strategy.
I work closely with clients in a co-creative way — I take the ideas in your head, even the abstract, half-formed ones, and together we turn them into something bigger, clearer, and more impactful than you could imagine on your own.
On top of that, I offer ongoing creative support through monthly retainers — blog posts, graphics, training videos, and SEO — so your momentum doesn’t stop at launch. Many clients find that starting with a single month trial is a low-risk way to see the value firsthand before committing long-term.
With over 30 years of professional experience and a lifetime of performing, creating, and producing across multiple mediums, I bring not just skill, but vision, strategy, and a collaborative approach that ensures your project doesn’t just meet expectations — it exceeds them.

- Flexible Support: Project-based solutions (websites, graphics & videos) plus monthly retainers tailored to your goals and budget.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to create the tools, content, and strategy that help your business grow.
Let’s bring your ideas to life. Whether it’s a project launch or ongoing support, I’d love to discuss how we can create something extraordinary together.
