I was commissioned to create an original logo brand and website development for precision Power DC, a high-end automotive specialty maintenance, repair shop and vehicle showcase located in Washington DC.
The project was developed from initial graphite sketches to BW vector to full color vector art. My client loved how the two facing P’s to create the DC within the letters. I also had the opportunity to develop his company website as well, which a nice challenge. My client was extremely happy with everything that I created for him.
“This was an exciting project because it was created from the ground up, working directly with the owner of Precision Power DC and a cross pollination of his ideas and mine, right along side of the construction of the warehouse and showroom for that was just being completed as this logo design was in the final stages of development and ready to unveil in all it’s glory.”
I always start with rough sketches just to throw ideas, shapes and patterns out there to see what gets attention and shows some possibility.
Sometimes it’s immediate and others times it takes a few rounds to find your stride with the development of a logo design. I always make it a collaborative effort with all of my clients, but sometimes they just trust me and let me do my thing. And I nail it every time.
The same goes for my illustration work.
