I have been creating logos for the last 30+ years. I love the challenge. Every time, creating a logo is an opportunity to try new techniques, attitudes, execution and ideas in a totally unique way specific to the company that it is being designed for.
The best ones have come out of collaboratively working together with my client to get something that is bigger, better and cooler than either of of us would have come up with separately because each revision and edit gets closer to the envisioned finished piece.
After all, it’s the face, the voice and the visual message that your business represents. So why not take advantage of the opportunity and create something that works multiple levels, depending on how it is received and viewed?
Even a tagline is important because it is an extension of the logo to add depth of your services, an attitude or a phrase that is deeply connected to your business.
I also enjoy creating the variations on the original logo, depending on how it being used. My client EAGLE in Kauai, Hawaii and Pineapple Yoga is constantly working with me to create content for his website and social media to promote his Ashtanga Yoga school, which is the only one on the island.
I have created literally HUNDREDS of logo variations for him over the last 25 years and we always keep in interesting.
