I have been a fan of live music since 1988 when I saw HEART at Astroworld in Houston, Texas back during the summer of 1987 and my second show was PINK FLOYD April 29, 1988! They were AMAZING!
Shortly thereafter, I got to see GENESIS at Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas in 1990 for the We Can’t Dance Tour which was really great. I also had the wonderful opportunity to see PAUL MCCARTNEY for the 1990 Flowers in the Dirt tour at Texas Stadium as well!
By 1995 I was completely into PHISH and FINALLY saw the for the first time Summer 1997 at Starplex in Dallas. PHANTASTIC SHOW! Now I have seen them 30 times in 5 states including Halloween in VEGAS and BIG CYPRESS!
And of course RUSH starting back during the Vapor Trails tour in 2001, 2004, 2007 and 2026 with the Fifty Something tour at Dickies Arena in Ft. Worth for the second night of a 4 night run.
They played 2112 in its entirety among many other classics!
I can leave this mortal coil knowing that I have hundreds of shows under my belt and a lifetime of musical experiences, let alone thousands of hours of personally PLAYING LIVE in 23 bands over the last 30+ years.
Not too many people can say that. I’ve lived it.
So, for some concerts that I have really loved, I grabbed every bit of usable footage and the best sound and edited together a complete show so anyone could watch it and experience the same feeling! I basically would synch all of the audio and all of the separate angles for each song and then pick when and what to cut to based on what I had available for each concert.
It’s not perfect, but to get responses from people all over the world for the 2024 Peter Gabriel concert that I recreated, which is pretty cool.
Here are some examples that have put together over the years as a labor love. ENJOY!
